Rollem,
If you want to place a lay bet at Betfair SP with £10 liability from Excel, column Q needs to contain a formula that when evaluated to TRUE, fires the trigger LAYSP.
.Column S must evaluate to the chosen liability, in your case 10.00.
Creating these settings is fairly straightforward, but what's going to set off the trigger?
.This is where you'll need to get your thinking cap on.
If you download Gary's Place_Bets.xls workbook
http://www.gruss-software.co.uk/Excel/ExcelAutoBetting.htm and have a good look at how it works, then you'll have some ideas for how to go about creating your own.
Note that betting from a list of selections is only one way of firing a trigger — the requirement is for the trigger column Q to evaluate to TRUE, and there are 1,001+ ways of doing that.
.However, I imagine that it is one of the more common methods used, so Place_Bets.xls should be very helpful.
