There are 2 methods for getting the price and bet orders updated in Betting Assistant.

The traditional method is to request (otherwise known as Polling) new price and bet data from the API server at specific timed intervals.

The new recommended method is Price Streaming and Order Streaming which allows the software to subscribe to a market and then the prices and bet orders are automatically sent to the software as and when they change.

Next to Refresh you will see a tick box labelled "Auto" which you can untick if you require Betting Assistant to stop requesting data for a period of time and this applies to polling and streaming.
